John Sanders, DPM
Dr. John T. Sanders brings 44 years of expertise to his practice in the Newburg and Taylorsville locations in Louisville, KY. Specializing in foot and ankle surgery, he aptly handles conditions such as athletes' foot, plantar fasciitis, and bunions. Dr. Sanders is affiliated with several prominent hospitals, including Norton Healthcare Pavilion, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare, Baptist Health Louisville, and Norton Hospitals Podiatric residency program for over 15 years.
He completed his undergraduate studies at St. Louis University and earned his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1980. Following this, he completed his residency in 1988 at the US Department of Veteran Affairs. Dr. Sanders has also pursued additional education through various Medicare programs, including the Physician Quality Reporting System, Electronic Health Record Incentive Program, Electronic Prescribing Incentive Program, and Medicare Maintenance of Certification Program.
Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Sanders is a Diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. His professional memberships include the American Podiatry Association and the Kentucky Podiatry Association.
Melissa Dorsett, DPM
Dr. Melissa Dorsett has been providing exceptional podiatric care in Louisville, KY, for over 26 years, practicing at the Newburg and Taylorsville locations. She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996 and completed her residency at the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
In addition to her medical education, Dr. Dorsett has pursued further training through the Medicare Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) Incentive Program, Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program, and the Medicare Electronic Prescribing (eRX) Incentive Program. She has also participated in the Medicare Maintenance of Certification Program. Dr. Dorsett's extensive experience and commitment to continuing education highlight her dedication to providing the highest quality podiatric care.
